Jill’s knack for rock ‘n roll nutrition is the result of being a registered dietitian mixed with her musical experience as lead singer-songwriter of her band Sunset WestSunset West has toured and recorded extensively in the mainstream music scene including The Vans Warped Tour and The Next Great American Band on FOX. About Note to Health

Note to Health specializes in age-appropriate, interactive multimedia productions designed to teach kids about health. Our creations take shape as touring school assembly programs, concerts, educational music, music videos, and interactive workshops. We also train educators, parents and healthcare providers who are seeking creative ways to motivate kids to eat their vegetables and teens to ditch their morning, afternoon and evening energy drink routine. We do not like PowerPoint presentations. We believe people learn best by doing….and rocking out!

Tom Deja, Graphic Design
Tom Deja is head hancho at Bossman Graphics. Seduced long ago by the glamorous, diamond-studded, go-go lifestyle of a graphic designer, Tom Deja now finds himself addicted to the white knuckle thrills that only brand identities, marketing materials and retail signage can deliver. After long emails and discussions, Tom can find the art to represent an entire idea through a single, unique icon. Tom is responsible for the Jump with Jill logo, the Note to Health logo, and the entire presentation of the Jump with Jill CD. Because of Tom, NTH is represented by a broccoli floret guitar.

An award-winning illustrator, Tom is also a veteran of the 90s Garage Punk scene, and has worked for obscure bands as well as huge corporations along the way; creating logos, posters, web sites, record covers, and everything in between. While he was Creative Director for Star Farm Productions in Chicago, their "Edgar & Ellen" books were turned into an animated series for the Nicktoons Network, and used for Target's 2007 Halloween promotion. Most recently, Tom was tapped to help brand the newly relaunched Weekly World News, as well as Dean Valentine's Comedy.com, and to design the upcoming Touch & Go Magazine book, due in 2010.

When he's not drawing or designing, he's collecting music, art, Frankenstein junk, and throwing a tennis ball to his dog, Chimpy.

When he isn't hunched over a computer staring at code, he can be found exploring the northern woods of Michigan or sitting in a boat on a secluded lake with his fishing line either in the water or in a knot.

Trevor Gast, Producer
Ever since the 10th grade, when Trevor quit the football team to join the school choir, Trevor has been composing music of all varieties, from rock songs to emotional film scores. In order to feed his hunger for music (and football) he graduated from Penn State University with a B.M. in Music Composition in 2004 and continued on for graduate studies in Composition and Theory. Trevor has been actively producing music for rock bands and solo artists in between writing film scores for student films and musicals for youth summer camps. Trevor first produced "Rock on State" for Penn State University with Jill, which was released in 2007. With his production prowess and the sense of humor of a 10 year old, Trevor smoothly transitioned with Jill into kids music with the completion of Get Me Goin’ for Jump with Jill in 2008. Trevor takes Jill’s scratch demos and verbal ideas for a song, and turns them into full, coherent ideas. Because of Trevor, the Jump with Jill CD features the loudest burps known to human kind.

Trevor lives with his wife music teacher wife, Helen, in Harrisburg, PA where they will surely be making musical children.

Laura has worked in venues large, small, and famous, from Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ, to small, intimate settings like coffee houses and basement studios, to CBGB’s. She gravitates toward the music artist as her subject because of her intense connection with song lyrics that can express what she cannot say. Her work is a drive to capture this emotion through photograph.

Laura graduated from the college of Visual and Performing Arts at Syracuse University in 2004, earning a bachelor’s degree in photography and fine art.
